Concrete deliverables

Not just an email full of government links.

A useful project notice is only the beginning. The Desk packs the screening work around it, so an estimator or business-development manager can decide what to check next.

01

Scope and fit

Where the project is, what the public record says, which of your trades may fit and which details still need confirmation.

02

Time and requirements

Published closing date, access or pre-bid requirements when available, and a direct link to the official source. No invented bid eligibility.

03

Next step and changes

A practical check to make next—review plans, verify qualifications, find the project team—plus meaningful-source-change monitoring for 14 days.

Proof of format, not a paid deliverable

Here's the kind of information you'll receive.

These are real projects shown on Missouri's official state construction bid listing, checked October 9, 2026. They're examples, not a custom pack for your company. Your actual pack is tailored to the trades and counties you choose.

Moberly Correctional Center — Kitchen Renovation

Potential fit: institutional general contractors and specialty contractors supplying or installing applicable flooring, kitchen equipment, plumbing and other work, subject to the official specifications.

Qualification details already screened: The state's invitation lists an October 23 pre-bid meeting at 10 a.m. and requires photo ID for access to state property. The IFB lists an SDVE 3% or HDVE 3% participation goal and says bidders must obtain at least one bid set to become planholders. View-only electronic sets are free.

First useful action: review the current invitation, planholder registration and specifications. Identify whether your company is bidding as prime or supplying pricing to a qualified prime; check addenda before estimating.

Important: These public examples have no purchase requirement. Dates and status can change; the official issuing agency controls all bid documents, addenda, bidder requirements and eligibility. Check that source before acting. A purchased pack would use your selected trades and geography rather than this generic sample.

Before you purchase

Common questions

Can I get the official bid notices for free?

Yes. We link official public notices for free. Our $199 service pays for the time and judgment used to source, screen, prioritize and monitor relevant opportunities for your business.

Does this provide private invitations, construction plans or guaranteed awards?

No. We do not control issuing agencies, access restrictions, private GC invitations or project awards. Available documents and bid requirements remain with the original source. Any private-development signal would be labeled separately from a formal public bid.

What if my trade or service territory is extremely narrow?

Ask us to check fit before purchasing, by email. We won't represent poor matches as qualified opportunities. The number of genuine matches depends on public-source availability in the territory and period requested.

Will this turn into a monthly subscription?

No. Opportunity Desk is a one-time $199 research pilot. Our separate Opportunity Radar product is a monthly subscription only if you choose it yourself.

Who delivers the research, and when?

Howell Commerce Co., based in West Plains, Missouri. The first pack is sent by email within two business days after the required trade, territory and project-type preferences are complete.
